On Sunday Sept 21 there was a bike show at Pettengill farm in Salisbury Mass. I wasn’t able to stay very long but I was pleasantly surprised at the early turnount. Marques represented included everything from Norton to Excelsior and much more. A 1914 BSA flat tanker was chuffing around adding to the spectacle. A smattering of hot rods showed up in addition to early Harley Davison and Indian antiques.

There were dozens of antique collectible vendors with home decor and other items for the home. Truly a family day out, lots of kids, dogs and eats. There must have been a dozen gourmet food trucks not to mention tons of clean porta potties which can be scarce at most motorcycle venues.

Live and recorded music always seemed to be in the background and added to the atmosphere rather than intruded.

A great show, next year I will definitely make plans to spend the day.

Like I said, I left before noon and there were lots more bikes on the way in so the filed must have been full by 1 PM.
