VSCCA Castle Hill Hill Climb 2001

Posted: March 6, 2011 in Uncategorized, Vintage Cars, vintage racing

I found a tape on an old camcorder that might be interesting to someone out there.

This is from the VSCCA hillclimb at Castle Hill at the Crane Estate in Ipswich Ma

There used to be a show on the grounds the day after the hillclimb which unfortunately got too well attended so they shut it down. C’est la vie.

Anyway, it’s not great quality but you get the idea of the scale of the event.

Very low key with friendly folks and some neat old cars. Kind of like when there was a mixup in the invitations and you got to crash a really cool party.

Part 2 is the cars parked in front of the Manor House at the lunch break and then the afternoon run.

All very civilized
