AMA Vintage Days Review

Posted: August 7, 2008 in motorcycles, Norton Commando, vintage racing

We had a great time at the Mid-Ohio Racetrack, just wish we didn’t have to spend all day at our booth at the Swap Meet! No complaints though; we had a great response from the people there and customers bought up all the jackets we brought and lots of our accessories! Thanks to our customers who stopped by to say hello, always nice to put a face with the name.

On Sunday we met Gene Romero and got a signed poster which was super. Gene’s a legend and looks like he’s staying fit and healthy.

Saw some good racing and chatted up some guys from NY who were campaigning some Norton racers.

Good on yer lads! The bikes looked the biz and really ran well, good luck.

Mid Ohio is the best track I’ve visited in the US as far as accommodations and access and racing goes. Everthing looked like it ran smoothly and we had zero problems throughout the weekend. Top Marks!

We’ll be back next year with the BIG trailer…………..
