This video is a classic, check it out if you haven’t seen it.

You get a real flavor of what the circuit is like rather than on the heart stoppingly fast modern bikes.

The Matchless doesn’t have stratospheric revs or power, but uses all it’s got in the hands of a true expert Dave Roper.

He narrates the video in a calm and relaxed fashion and somehow remembers where the (long) track goes.

Where do I start with this one?

Kenny Cummings is a dyed in the wool Norton man who has been flying the Norton flag for a few years now.

We’ve seen him race at Mid-Ohio and Barber and he flat gets it done.

For all you gearheads out there, this site gives you pretty much all you need to know when it comes to building a fast Formula 750 Norton.

Kenny has a methodical approach plus enough enthusiasm and talent to see a job to its logical conclusion.

His sponsor Seeley has been around since the days when oil leaking twin cylinder bikes roamed the recently cooled earth.This combination has produced a race bike that goes far faster than an old Norton has any right to.

Of course there’s some trial and error, so read the story. If you’ve ever tried to build a fast motor or just like to be a fly on the wall I think it’s compelling. Then all you need is bags full of money and some talent.

Ok, I know it isn’t vintage bike stuff but this is worth a look.

My man Ralph is having a car show in gay Paree this spring and this is the lineup. But as they say in the Ginsu knife commercial “wait there’s more”.

Check out the cars of course but slap on the headphones and listen to the sound clips with each of the cars.

Bugattis , Bentleys, Jags and then you get to the Alfas and Ferraris. If the Italian cars don’t raise the trouser tent then check into the local funeral home. You’re dead.

Strangely enough I’ve seen a few of these cars at the Paul Russell facility and they are as drop dead gorgeous in the flesh as they are in the pictures.

If you haven’t been here for a while you might notice the new theme which I think is much cooler overall, thank you very much.

Also, check out the pages which are now listed at the top of the page, I’ve added some new bikes to “Bikes in the garage” and also added a slide show page.
